When Steam Input Helps

Steam Input is useful when the game recognizes a controller but one or two actions feel awkward. It should be used to solve specific friction, not to redesign the whole control scheme immediately.

Private Lobby Practice Routine

Controller changes should be tested under light pressure before you take them into public matches. Use a private room to repeat the same route and scan pattern several times.

• Run one route as a hider three times with the same layout.
• Run one seeker scan route and check whether camera turns feel controlled.
• Change only one binding or sensitivity value between tests.
• Keep the layout if it reduces mistakes without making menus harder.
